Beginner Handgun Safety
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to teach basic firearms handling and safety, as well as the fundamentals of shooting to students ages 10-16. The focus is on safety, fundamentals, and what a child should do if they find a firearm.

• Practical Firearm Safety
• Grip
• Sight Alignment
• Trigger Control
• Loading & Unloading
• What to do if a child finds a firearm
• How firearms are different than how they are portrayed in media (tv/movies/videogames)

RESTRICTIONS
Sign-up is restricted to more than 2 hours before class start. Rental guns must use ammunition purchased at Stoddard’s. This course is designed for students ages 10-16 and a parent or guardian must be present with the student for the entirety of the class, including range time.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

A photo ID is required. This course is designed for students ages 10-16 WITH parent or guardian attending the same class.

What is the refund policy?

All students are entitled to a full refund for a cancellation if notified one week or more prior to the scheduled class day. If the cancellation is notified less than one week prior to the class day, a full credit toward another class will be issued. If the cancellation is notified less than 48 hours prior to the class day, no refund or credit will be issued.
