Never Been to a Range? How It Works

Q: I have never been to a gun range before or I am visiting from out of town, what do I need to bring and what should I know?

To rent a lane on one of our ranges for an hourly fee (see range rates here), you will provide a valid government issued photo ID and acknowledge by signature that you understand our safety range rules (see complete range rules here). To enter the range you must have eye & ear protection and targets, which we offer for sale. You can choose to rent a firearm from us in which case you will use Stoddard’s purchased ammunition.

Q: What if I already own a firearm and just want to use the range?

If you already own a firearm and eye and ear protection, you may simply rent the lane. You may bring your own ammo (no steel casings, no birdshot allowed). We can provide as much or as little as needed.
