A Colossal New Shooting Range in West Midtown
’Tis the season to be jolly and all that.
And for the most part, you are. You’re jolly as hell.
But just in case, here’s a new shooting range…
A gargantuan one called Stoddard’s Range and Guns that’s now opened in West Midtown.
Now, for starters, if you’re picturing a slapdash setup frequented by dusty old hunter types, then:
1) Perhaps you should check out this slideshow. 2) You’ve got it all wrong. Because this is a 34,000-square-foot warehouse-from-the-future with an outdoor lounge overlooking the city, 24 lanes and programmable touchscreen target systems.
And there are a few ways you can go about it:
Take a class.
Like the two-day defensive carbine one. You’ll get five hours on the range and two hours of class time to go over things like marksmanship and shooting on the move.
Look around. Buy things.
Soft gun bags. Vests. Smith & Wessons. Camouflage jackets. They won’t make sense here, but maybe some other time.
Become a member.
The highest level gets you benefits like early access to the range before it opens every day. The lowest level gets you benefits like unlimited use of the shooting range.
The middle level is a set of steak knives.
